Provided by YP.com2004 Mercedes. They were tons cheaper than the dealership and cheaper than most of the local shops that wanted to put in a Jasper transmission or whatever. They were a bit higher than a couple of local shops, but I wanted the nationwide warranty from AAMCO. some of the local garages said they had national warranties but when I looked into it they were putting one of those aftermarket extended warranties on it. I've been burned by those crappy companies in the past so I didnt' want any part of that. I think AAMOCO is worth the difference.
They said they could get it done in 3 days, but it took them 4 days and I was borrowing my wife's Nissan and she didn't have a car. But I guess that's not too bad.
The repair was great. Drives better than when i bought it in 2006. and the price was right. The garage looks pretty good- but it's obviously a garage and not a beautry parlor. The manager knew what he was talking about. I talked to one tech who was real good but he didn't fix the transmission, he just took the transmissions out of the car.
I would go back. And if anything ever happens when I'm travelling the Southeast
