Provided by YP.comGreat experience with my visit here. The staff was very polite. My dogs were staying here boarding and were seen by the doctor and groomed before they went home. The grooming was good, and the manager very helpful and knowledgeable with my pets condition. Will definitely be back in a couple of weeks to kennel my pets.

Provided by YP.comOne of the employees abuses his own dog. I highly doubt the veterinarian even knows. Do not take here!!!!!

Provided by YP.comNever take your animals here. Because they are the only vet in town without an in-house lab, they misdiagnosed my dog, costing me an emergency room visit and $2000. My dog almost died after they sent him home saying he was fine. The office manager is extremely rude, and he was not helpful at all.

Provided by YP.comOur pets were picked up at the facility on time by our pet sitter and were loaded up in her car. Somehow our credit card information was lost and our pet sitter had to make other arrangements to pay for our pets stay at the facility. On the drive home (which is about 5 minutes from the place of business), all three of the animals started urinating and defecating in the car. Once the pets arrived home, all three of them lapped up water as if they had not had a drink in several days. Of course this was very upsetting. It seemed as if the dogs were not let out to use the restroom and were not given water during their stay.
Our sitter called the facility and asked them when was the last time the dogs were let out, only to find out that the dogs were NOT let outside during their stay there and were expected to do their business in the kennel, where they sleep. This was very disappointing to find out this information after the fact that they had been boarded at the facility for 5 full days.
My complaint with this facility is that the services that were provided were not what was explained to me up front. I chose this facility to board my dogs because they have large kennels, would let the dogs out 2-3 times a day and were reasonably priced. I was very disappointed to find out that my animals were not let outside to use the restroom and were expected to do so in their kennel. Had I known this information up front I would have chosen a different facility.
Upon my return to town, I contacted Acoma Pines and spoke with the office manager/CEO. I voiced my concern and was promptly told that if I wanted my dogs to be let outside I could have paid additional for that service or I should have taken them to a different facility. Certainly I would have taken my pets to a different facility had I know this information up front, or I would have paid for the additional service of taking the dogs outside if I had known that they were not going to be let outside. I was told up front that the dogs would be let out of the kennel 2-3 times a day. To the lay person this means going outside to use the restroom, not being shuffled to a different kennel while cleaning occurs. For the service that I received, I could have just put the dogs up in the garage with a big bowl of food and would have saved myself $209 in “boarding fees” and the $150 to have my pet sitter’s car detailed.
