General Info
Tupelo Honey is a revival of Southern food and traditions rooted in the Carolina Mountains we call home. We craft brunches, lunches and suppers that bring family and friends around the table and allow for conversations and cocktails to linger longer than usual.

Provided by YP.comTupelo Honey Cafe is one of the best places to eat in Asheville. Be prepared to wait, but trust me its worth the wait. Grab some coffee and get ready to eat good eats!

Provided by YP.comIf you must go to this restaurant, go to the downtown restaurant not the South. We had the worse service and meal ever. They were out of biscuits and were very rude about it. The food is not as good in the South Restaurant, and fair downtown. Dont waste your time or money. Too many great restaurants to choose from in Asheville. Go to Early Girl. Great staff, great healthy food. Right around the corner.

Provided by YP.comAll of my favorite things in one place: The Avett Brothers playing on the speakers, goat cheese in the grits, mimosas, and food so good that I literally did a Happy Dance in my chair.
The glee of the moment, tastes, sounds and smells overtook me. I couldn’t help it.
For years we have tried to get into to Tupelo Honey, but were always dissuaded by the long wait times. We got there on a Friday morning around ten this time, and only had to wait for about fifteen minutes. Every second was worth it; now I understand why it is always packed.
Every. Single. Bite. Was. Delectable.
It is kid-friendly, gluten-free friendly, vegetarian and carnivore friendly, locally grown and scratch-made perfection. I didn’t want to ever leave. I could live forever on the Appalachian Eggrolls and the Breakfast Bowl, and I was sad I didn’t have space in my gluttonous gut for the Sweet Potato Pancakes.
I hear there is another location on the Southside of Asheville that takes reservations, but if you prefer the original, they do offer call ahead seating. I have never seen Tupelo Honey lacking a wait time, though, and now I understand why. It is potentially the best breakfast I have had in years.
Wonderful friendly staff, interesting menu and street-side dining! Try the shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, and have breakfast anytime.
