Excellent doctors and staff

I highly recommend Auburn Veterinary Hospital. My little "fur persons" have always received compassionate and knowledgeable care from the fine people there.

damaged dog continued

and never have had to sedate him. I have boarded him multiple times since then and there has never been a problem. They are so good with him and so kind and understanding I couldn't be happier with their service. I no longer work in Auburn but I continue to make the trip whenever I need vet services because I can't imagine I could find a nicer group of people who really make an effort. Now I have a new kitty and she will be seeing them for the first time this week. I know I can leave her in their care without a worry!

The after hours emergency vet is different than the daytime one, they just share the same building. That said....I've been seen by Dr. Cullen, Dr. Schneider, Dr. Jow all three are wonderful vets. I will continue to see them as long as I live in the area.I made the other comment on the list about my rat RJ (who has passed since that review).

Great work with a damaged dog.

I rescued my Min Pin a few years back, he was a mess, aggressive, fearful, totally unsocialized. He had not been well treated at his previous home At the first vet I took him to; it took 3 grown males and a blanket to get him immunized, the vet then handed me bottle of Valium and told me not to bring him back unless he was sedated. Shortly after that I learned I had to go into the hopital for a few days... I was panicked, if the vet couldn't handle him who would I leave him with? If he couldn't be boarded how could I keep him? He was due for boosters and badly needed his nails clipped as well. I went to Auburn Vet hospital because I heard they boarded dogs and because they were close to my job. I explained about my special need dog and asked if they would be willing to take him on... The girls from the back office didn't blink an eye, of course they would take him. I told them to go ahead and sedate him if they needed to, they just smiled. Well, they took him in cared for him,

Fantastic Vet!

I have taken my Bernese Mountain Dog to this vet for two years, and my family has taken their pets to this vet for 20+ years. I have seen Dr. Schneider, Jow, and Collum and they are all three extremely knowledgeable. They take time to answer all of my questions and because I am a regular customer, are always willing to help when I call with questions too. I would HIGHLY recommend taking your pet to see these capable and friendly doctors. The staff are great as well, always excited to see the animals that come in for appointments. My dog loves going to the vet and our experience here has been nothing but great. They are very good with the animals and will go above and beyond what is expected.
