Unbelievably rude owner. I could not believe her attitude. I will never shop here again. I'm not sure if they are trying to cheat people by doing the math wrong as they do it all by hand with calculators or they just don't know. I went in to point out that they were off by $40 and she gave me an argument, interrupted me and then stormed off in a huff and this was the OWNER. I don't understand how someone like that can run a business and she, along with her assistants, also has no concept of how to do math. Would highly recommend people go elsewhere there are a lot of options for bridesmaid dresses, I would find another.

I purchased my wedding gown from the Bridesmaids store. They measured me and told me they were going to order a size 16. I usually wear a 10 or 12 in regular clothes, and I told the lady and she said wedding dress sizes are completely different and to disregard what size I normally wear. I believed her since I have no experience buying wedding gowns. When the gown came in, it was GIANT, almost nine inches too wide. The lady just kind of giggled and said the person doing alterations could fix it. We couldn't send it back because the store wont allow it, and it takes four months to get the dress in the first place. We asked where to go for alterations. They gave me a handwritten list of three names. They said one lady was out of town, one couldnt speak english, and then an employee of the bridesmaids store recommended one of the ladies on the list because she had used her in the past and said she did great. Of course I went to that person because she was personally recommended by an employee. The alteration lady was AWFUL. She smoked in her house and was so rude. She talked about how stupid people she formerly worked for were. She didn't listen to the things I asked to get taken in. She insulted my church (when I said to leave the straps on the dress because my church is conservative, she said why would they care since the priest probably molests boys). She made the bottom of my dress uneven, could never fit it to me, ripped lace on my dress while beading it, and had no idea how to tie a sash on my dress. When I brought in my aunt, a professional seamstress (she does not live in Austin or I would have used her), to show her how to tie the sash (we told her a week ahead of time we were bringing in my aunt) the "seamstress" went crazy. She wouldnt listen to anything I needed altered. She screamed in my aunts face and told us to get the "hell out of my house." She then tried to keep working on my dress. I of course told her not to touch me or my dress and left. When we told the owner of the bridesmaids store about this incident, she pretty much shrugged and said too bad, we told her we thought she should pay for what we lost going to the crazy lady, and she couldnt care less. She offered to make a call to get us a different appointment elsewhere, but we went ahead and found our own person to fix my dress who made it beautiful again. We have now spent over $700 on alterations, because the Bridesmaids store could not order an appropriate sized dress or send us to a competent seamstress. They have never tried to call and see how the dress fits now, or to aplogize. They are awful, dont go there.

Our experience at this store was not good! We made an appointment for assistance but the girl kept leaving and was nowhere to be found. They were no help at all. I have read the same reviews on City Search. Just to give you an idea of how bad it was, this is the first time I've even taken the time out to write a review about anything! Don't waste your time.
