My Dentist Dr. Goodman, not only is he a good dentist but also he is a good psychologist. Whenever I am down, or just upset, he tells me, ���smile you are at a dentist��� and he makes me laugh and cheer up my mood. As a dentist he is very gentle. Did not have any fancy veneers done or anything like this but all my visits met my expectation, maybe also because he is next to my favorite cafe, urth cafe one block south on beverly drive. So every time I go to the dentist, I���ll have desert at urth caf�� afterward !

He used to have a front staff member who was truly a b...., but last time I went there she was gone and I was told she was asked to leave because of other complains. Now his entire staff is amazing. They could not be any nicer. Most importantly Erika explains me all the costs in advance and when I overpaid once by $12.40, the check was already in the mail.

Overall a good experience, nice dentist, staff and super clean.

Overall a very passionate dentist and very good at what he does. He always emphasizes on the gum and flossing , which makes me feel guilty... I guess that is great because I never flossed so much in my life ! One thing I like about my dentist is that he never makes me feel bad or guilty. When his Hygienist recommends heavy treatment for my gum , he is not pushy and tells you to go home and think about it .



He does not like it when you are late. Once I was late 25 min. and he gave me bad look ....but I forgive him, it is stressful running a business and being a dentist is certainly not the easiest business , if I had to choose one.





I am very comfortable and satisfied and love the modern office. 4 Stars because of the mean look for being late.

After being with my dentist for 20 years or so, it was difficult to change. Isn't every change difficult ? People are rather staying with the old known than risking an uncertain "new". So was I for 20 years. Great dentist in the Valley, always nice but old equipment and old office looks.



So I was ready to meet my new dentist, Joseph Goodman,but I call him Joseph because he is 20 years my junior.It started with the X ray assistant, nice and smooth and fast. X rays were ready by the end f the appointment to be evaluated. Wow



Some old dental work finally needed to be changed.I was ready since my old crowns had some ugly Grey areas around the margin and the front crown was anything but esthetically pleasing. Dr. Goodman explained me that the crown was made in a good material for the time it was fabricated, but that now a day dentists use all porcelain crowns which are more natural looking.Especially since I wanted only one crown changed next to my existing old own teeth, it is very challenging to get it right. Indeed the first time the crown was too light. Just by a bit, I did not even notice it but he told me that I should come back again and his lab technician would glaze over it one more time.

Indeed the final outcome was great. Not that I care too much but my wife does and so she also became a patient after being with the same good dentist for 20 years. Although my last dentist used older equipment, Joseph not once said anything negative about him. Even when I old him that the Grey area around the crown was there when the crown was new but got worse over time, he never made any negative remarks to me, but rather said no worries, we will get to smiling again, with his charming white smile.

What is all the fuzz about...Veneers, Lumineers... was I thinking when I made an appointment with Dr. Goodman. My teeth were stained and I had gaps between my teeth. So after two consultations.... I went for it and the result is great. I met the dental lab and the owner and told them what I had in mind. The result is better than I have hoped for.I am very pleased.
