Another subsidiary, IDACOMM, provides fiber optic network service to business enterprises, government organizations and telephony carriers. Its services include commercial Internet services, and sale, design, installation and operation of an Internet protocol voice and data service package, which includes dial tone, integrated voice and e-mail messaging. The company s Ida-West Energy subsidiary operates small hydroelectric generation projects that satisfy the requirements of the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978. IDACORP is headquartered in Boise, Idaho.
