BASICS offers substance abuse treatment services at its facility located in Bronx, N.Y. The facility helps residents of the community with their diagnosis, social issues and related addictions by providing them with a safe environment. In partnership with the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, its treatment services offers a wide range of supported services, including methadone maintenance, detoxification regimens, smoking cessation and other strategies that minimize and eliminate substance abuse. The substance abuse specialists offers their services by demystifying drug seeking behaviors, redirecting and acknowledging old habits associated with drug use and builds a strong spirituality component to add structure to the resident's development as they convalesce. It provides a residential facility and its services are delivered on-site and when necessary patients are referred to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center. BASICS service area encompasses people living in various locations in New York that include Bronx, Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn.
