Doctors Haganman, Stovie, Hingst and support professionals at The Dental Center, are pleased to welcome you to our practice. We strive to help every one of our patients keep their teeth healthy and their smiles bright. Our dentists stay current with the latest in dental diagnosis and treatment to ensure that our patients receive the best quality care possible. Because of the education and extraordinary experience of our dentists, we are able to provide patients with a wide array of services. Chris Haganman, DDS, MS, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. A prosthodontist is a dentist with additional education in the restoration and replacement of missing teeth as well as a variety of other cosmetic procedures. Dr. Haganman is the only Board-certified prosthodontist in Cedar Rapids. Brad Stovie, DDS, is a general dentist with extensive training and many years of experience with orthodontics. Shannon Hingst, DDS, is a general dentist who has enhanced education and experience to assist patients with conscious sedation and anxiety-relieving care. A unique feature at The Dental Center is our own in-house dental laboratory, Studio One Ceramics. Crown and bridge restorations are custom-made right in our building. Our in-house dental laboratory allows our dentists and technicians the ability to communicate and work closely together, providing you with the highest quality restorations possible. Long wait time, tons of paper work, not very personable, expensive and high pressure. It seems I was an inconvenience to the front desk people by coming in. I don't have much to say about the doctor's work. I just wanted out of there because I was tired of hearing him brag to his assistant about his tailgating. Will not go again.
I just went to The Dental Center and felt very unwelcomed. They were more interested in how much insurance I had and if I would be paying my co-pay today than the pain I was in. So many people walking around in uniforms but no one looked like they knew what was going on. Unorganized front desk. Snobby doctors and the assistant just threw a dribble pad on my chest and went to go talk to her friend the other assistant. No one even talked to me. The doctor was more interested in his assistant than my teeth if you know what I mean!
I've had great experiences with the dental center. Doctor Stovie is fantastic. The only complaint I have is the front desk people don't exactly know what's going on. I had to have my dentist sign a paper and I explained to the front desk lady what it was for but she just made it so complicated. Other than that a fantastic dental office.
