Founded in 1972, CIMRO Quality Healthcare Solutions is a nonprofit organization. It has more than 1,500 physician members and has nearly 500 physician reviewers, which represents all major specialties and subspecialties. It also has registered nurses and case managers. It offers a broad range of services, including quality and utilization management, as well as independent and external peer review. Its utilization management services include observation, post payment, investigational and experimental reviews. CIMRO Quality Healthcare Solutions provides information and resources to government, business, health care providers and related organizations for improvement of patient care.
