1.0 star ratingI tried to give them zero stars but it wouldn't let me. My best friend's mother is a regular here and she referred us to the shop. The woman who did my nails was rushing, made my cuticle bleed and made 3 nails crooked. I asked her several times to take them off but she reassured me she would fixed them towards the end. Once I notice nothing was changing, I kindly asked her to remove them. This woman made a huge scene and tried to kick me out ( while the manager watch). I calmly watch this woman make a fool of her self and left quietly. Never been so disrespected in my life!! Worst experience nail salon ever !!!

I have used Elite Nails on Portsmouth Blvd several times for a mans pedicure prior to going on a beach vacation as my wife says it is required. On today, FEB 1, 17, the store manager designated a very young lady with little to no experience to perform the pedicure. She did the best she could but after her not knowing how to trim the nails to using the callus thing like a cheese grater, I just said that was enough and I was leaving. The manager? said she was in training and that is all well and good but not on me. They did not seem to care as to using a customer for training and I'm not sure this is legal, but I do know it was poor work and poor management. I feel especially sorry for the young lady as she could not speak English and they were not translating to her when I requested that her use of the nail trimmer be stopped. She is being used and will be their victim, I]m afraid. All in all a bad experience at an unkempt nail salon using ustomers for training. More money for the shop. I won't return nor will I recommend it.

I went yesterday (4/10/14) and recieved EXCELLENT service from Hannah. She is a very professional nail technician. This salon has just become my go-to nail service provider. Judy W.

Ive been goin to Johnnie for years. Even before he was a shop owner. I refuse to allow anyone else to perform nail service on me. Maybe his brother but thats about it. I have deep nailbeds and so my fill-ins wouldnt last with other technicians. I love him.
