Located in Cincinnati, The Division of Orthopaedics at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is responsible for the management of congenital and acquired musculoskeletal problems in children. It supports a spine research program that focuses on anatomy, biomechanics and biology of the spine and improvement of the clinical practice of spine surgery. The division conducts a basic science research program through its Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Department of Developmental Biology that helps in the study of physiological physical and abnormal skeletal growth. The Division of Orthopaedics at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center additionally handles cases related to supracondylar humeral, forearm and femoral shaft fractures. It offers patient- and family-centered care services.
