Provided by YPmobileAs a student at A&M who was going home for the summer, I needed somewhere to keep my furniture, because it definitely wasn't going to fit in the garage at home. It flooded. Not just a little bit either. The water in my 10x10 unit rose a full foot. Literally everything inside was ruined and guess what: the insurance policy that the require you to pay for with the unit every month? It explicitly does not cover flooding. So I lost thousands of dollars worth of furniture and they won't do anything about it at all. I would be forgiving if this was just a freak of nature type incident, but I really don't think it was. The rain wasn't terribly severe, especially for the college station area, so it had probably flooded before due to their poorly laid out facility which lies in a flood plain. And it had clearly flooded before based on the fact that upon inspection the walls had been painted over multiple times to cover up previous water damage. Though they had had flooding before, that fact was not divulged to me, nor was I advised to keep valuables off the floor. So in summary: don't store things here. It will only bring you pain.
