Provided by YP.comI never thought I would need a wig for medical reasons, but I am in exactly that position. I had shopped in a few wig stores and was very discouraged - both at selection and at sales. By the time I went to Wig Wam in Commack I was expecting more of the same. My experience however was completely different. The store is big, with a vast selection that is out in the open. I was free to browse for as long as I wanted with no sales pressure. I found a wig that I thought was "me" and I was assisted with it. At no time did I feel pressured into buying that hairpiece, or any other for that matter. I was given helpful advice pertaining to the wig as well as encouragement regarding my medical diagnosis. Neither the store nor the salespeople are stuffy; rather, I felt comfortable the entire time. It took me three trips back to the store - retrying the wig each time before I bought it. The owner and staffers seemed so genuine in their concern for me. I hugged the owner and I could see that she meant it when she told me that it means a great deal to her to see her customers smile. I have a special fondness for Wig Wam in Commack - they helped me deal with a very sensitive first part of a difficult journey. My sincere thanks - D

Provided by YP.comI found the experience of selecting a wig, with the help of the very nice saleslady, to be much nicer than I was expecting. The selection was tremendous and I walked out of there looking a heck of a lot better than when I walked in! This was the store in Commack.
