Very clean taste. Super fresh. Awesome service. This place is bad to the bone!! If you like sushi you owe it to yourself to try this place out.

We have been going to this restaurant for years. It is the only true Japanese restaurant with an actual Japanese Sushi Chef. For those of you who do not know, in Japan Sushi Chefs train as an apprentice for a minimum of 10 years before venturing out on their own. The reason is so they can learn about technique, sushi rice and know how to tell just how fresh their fish is. In Japan sushi is all about the taste of the rice.



All the other places in Corpus have sushi chefs who worked at one time or the other for a sushi chef for a minimal amt of time and that is why sometimes it is hit or miss with the freshness. If you want authentic, fresh sushi with great tasting rice this is it. Nothing fancy but staff is great and food is excellent very consistent. Highly recommended.
