      I've had my animals at several animal hospitals and I love this. Dr. Van Alstine has taken such good care of my "critters". He knows just how much I love them, they are my babies and he treats each of them as if they were his own. Last year, he saved our cat, Mimi, from certain death. He didn't even think she would survive but he didn't give up on her. He kept trying. He actually saved her twice. I couldn't thank him enough. Again, last Feb. 15th, I had to make the devastating decision to have my beautiful black lab & best friend, Lacy, put to sleep after 15 years of her loyal love & friendship. Her big heart just couldn't take anymore. Lacy had been under Dr. VanAlstine's care for 7 months before her death (diagnosis till death). He kept her with me as long as he could, as pain-free as possible. She tried to hang on for me. I had to let her go, for her. This animal hospital is wonderful. They kept her for me until I could bury her properly.
