DETAILS
General Info
Christopher K. Dyke, MD, is a cardiologist at National Jewish Health. Dr. Dyke is in the Division of Cardiology and Department of Medicine. My passion is outpatient and inpatient clinical cardiology. The connection experienced with patients during the diagnostic and therapeutic journey in their comprehensive care is the most rewarding part of my practice. I have worked in an academic setting (Duke University Medical Center) and a community-based practice (Alaska Heart & Vascular Institute) and feel National Jewish Health combines the best of both patient care settings. My clinical passion is advanced cardiac imaging. The breadth and depth of these newer technologies adds significant clinical value in the care of our cardiovascular patients. Research is important to continue to optimize diagnostic utility. I am involved with two separate patient registries in cardiac MRI designed to increase clinical impact understanding and I have a research agreement with GE to research and clinically apply new MRI sequences and protocols. I have also been active in the leadership of the Society of Cardiovascular MRI and currently serve on the Clinical Practice Committee (chair position) and Clinical Trials Committee. Additional clinical interests include prevention and management of coronary artery disease, hypertension, and dyslipidemia as well as diseases of the heart muscle, heart valves, and heart rhythm.
