The Cataract and Glaucoma Center, Dr. Louis Alpern, and Dr. Lawrence Tafoya are now part of the Southwest Eye Institute! Drs. Alpern and Tafoya are seeing patients with the same team at the same locations. To schedule an appointment, you can call them directly at (915) 267-2020 Dr. Alpern founded the Cataract and Glaucoma Center in 1978 and has been at the forefront of technological solutions in eye care since then. Dr. Lawrence Tafoya joined Dr. Alpern in 2017.
