We traveled from FL to MI on a red eye flight. Two days in advance, we reserved a car through HERTZ. We realized we'd be arriving late, and we were told "don't worry, we always wait for that last Air Tran flight. We'll be here." Our flight was delayed by 30 minutes and when we got here, there was no one at the Hertz desk. We called the main company who reported "sorry, there is nothing we can do." We were with two other families who also had reservations and were told not to worry about the late flight. Now we're stranded in an airport on the other side of the country... don't know about their pricing consistency or quality yet, but I'm not sure I'll find out because their service is TERRIBLE. When 7am rolls around, I'll be looking at the other rental companies first. :(
