Established in 1906, Vons is a chain of more than 300 grocery stores throughout the United States. It staffs over 16,000 employees and has operations in southern California and Nevada. Vons is a part of Safeway family of companies. It provides products under the mom to mom, Safeway SELECT, Signature Caf , Priority Pet Care Basic Red, Primo Taglio, Rancher's Reserve, Lucerne and Bright Green brands. The chain s stores include pharmacy, bakery, deli, floral, seafood and liquor departments. Vons provides a range of gift cards for customers. It also offers a variety of airline renewal services.

This is by far the dirtiest vons I have ever been in. Many items I needed were out of date or very near, especially in the dairy section. There was an odor in the store that was unpleasent. I am not too concerned with prices, but at checkout I was over charged by over $7.00 luckily I caught it and was refunded the money. I also purchased the idywilld town crier news paper and was charged tax, eventhough right on the front of the paper it shows the price including tax. I didn't notice that till later and would not have bothered for the few cements.
