La Vista is a great neighborhood Italian spot in Houston, Texas. This casual, indoor/outdoor seating, BYOB (conveniently located next to Rice Epicurean if you want to buy a bottle of wine before dinner), moderately priced restaurant is exactly the place you are looking for on weekday night. Food is great and the menu offers something for everyone.

A fun place to go to. I enjoy the BYO aspect being a wine person myself. The only regret is that they don't take reservations. The food is very good and reasonably priced. My favorite is the parmesan chicken when it's on the menu. There is a large outdoor area for seating so if the weather is nice, it's a great place to be as well. Get there early to get a table.

The food is excellent at La Vista. I have eaten there many, many times. I am very glad that they recently added a fliet to their menu. The fact that is BYO is great. It's nice to bring your own bottle of wine to dine with. Now they also have wine at a reasonable price and there is a good liquor shop next door with a nice selection. This place is one of my favorites.

The title says it all! Enjoyed the food but won't go back because of the miserable service for a party of 6.
