I’m late with this review but after seeing others I felt I needed to share my experience. My husband asked me to marry him and less than two weeks later we were walking down the aisle. I went to David’s and no one wanted to help me presumably due to the fast date. There was even a booger wiped on their dressing room wall. I was feeling so helpless when I found Amore. But oh my gosh we’re they awesome! This was in 2015. They had a dress in store that was exactly what I was imagining. The lady rushed my alterations and I was good to go within 10 days. And the store is clean! They heard my horror story from other stores and they were so apologetic when it was not at all their doing. I was so thankful for this store and their customer service.

I am so disappointed with how Amore bridal & tuxedo in independence runs their business. We bought 7 bridesmaid dresses from them and it turned out to be a complete nightmare. We were told that the dresses would come in on time by the owner herself only to receive a call saying that we would have to pay for rush delivery. It took lots of phone calls and visits for them to agree that they made a mistake. Second they do not know their designers after getting sized by them one of the girls dress was to small by 5 inches. When we went in to talk to them they said that they are not responsible. Then who is???? We made so many wasted trips because of their mistakes also because the store hrs change on a daily basis. They were rude and unprofessional!!! We have never been so disappointed with a business as we have been with Amore

Don't go here! It looks so pretty inside and they do have a great selection but that's where the good about this place stops. All of the bridesmaids who bought dresses with me were measured wrong and charged an arm and a leg to get their dresses altered. They were supposed to be steamed but clearly it was too much for the poor sales girl and the dresses looked like they had been shoved in a bag when i picked them up. This place is disorganized and we wasted so much gas and energy trying to catch them while they were open!

I purchased my first bridesmaid dress from Amore Bridal back in 2002 for a friend's wedding. I was very pleased with my service there! The owner and staff were so helpful and friendly in assisting me, that I have since purchased 3 more bridesmaid gowns (2004, 2006, 2007). Each time I felt I had such attentive service, friendly staff, and personal attention. I have never felt like they were just looking to make a sale. As a larger woman (I wear a size 24/26), it is often times embarrassing to have other people helping you into and out of form fitting undergarments and dresses. I have never felt awkward, embarrassed, or humiliated at Amore, and having been humiliated at both David's Bridal and Rosie's Bridal in the past, that really means something to me.



Needless to say when it was time to purchase my own wedding gown in 2011, I chose Amore Bridal and Tuxedo. I had waited until 10 weeks before the wedding to even start looking at dresses, and they were able to help me, figure out what dresses would make it there in time for alterations, and keep me on my tight budget. Once again they were completely fabulous and made me feel beautiful for my wedding day.



There really isn't enough that I can say for Amore. I recommend them to every person I even overhear while shopping who is looking for a wedding dress, bridesmaid dress, or formal wear. Their customer assistance, attention to detail, and continual effort to go above and beyond time and time again is something that you don't get a lot these days.

I have purchased 4 bridesmaid dresses and my own wedding dress from Amore Bridal and Tuxedo. I have been a customer since 2002, and keep going back because of the amazing service and how they truly make you feel like a valued customer. As a larger woman (24/26) so many other places make you feel humiliated trying on form fitting undergarments and dresses. Amore bridal, however, has always made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The staff is amazing! They're very attentive and make great suggestions...they really know what they are talking about. The store itself is beautiful and they have so many styles to choose from. I have truly found a gem in Amore bridal and I will never go anyplace else.

I recently visited this store to try on bridal gowns. The woman helping me was rude and unwilling to help. She paid more attention to the other bride in the store, that was being helped by another woman. I felt as if I were bothering the woman helping me. I don't expect to be waited on hand and foot, but a little help here and there would be nice. Especially if I am paying over $1,000 for a dress. There also weren't a lot of dresses to look through.

Amore bridal was very helpful. The employees were very nice and made me feel comfortable. I loved almost every dress i tried on. I went to rosies after i was at amore's and i walked in and walked out. Then i went to Davids bridal and i felt like every dress i tried on was cheap compared to Amore's gowns. I would highly recommend Amore Bridal.

This company is donating a tux to us for a charity event! Thank you for being so generous when so many other tux companies said "no".
