I had high hopes for this place because they "seemed" to have good pricing and the customer service in the beginning was adequate. Unfortunately this place is horrible and dishonest. I am in the military and used them to move to my next duty station from Clovis Ca to gypsum Co. My Binding estimate stated 8750 pounds and they charged me for 13000. They said that the original estimate was for 1800 cubic feet but that was a lie. it was only for 600. So they actually forged document and gave them to the insurance copy so I had to challenge it and show them my actual original estimate. They also lost a lot of my belongings. Valerie and Tami seemed nice enough but when the problems arose they started to pass me off and stopped helping. I dealt with Jason and he is by far the most rude "manager" I ever met and refused to give me his managers contact info. The management also is never available to speak to. The only good thing I have to say is the crew who delivered my stuff to colorado was nice and quick but he told me he doesn't actually work for best rate moving and storage so 4 stars for the delivery team 1 for the company

This is the horror experience and worst moving Co. I experienced so far. They double their price after the initial quote. They lost their drivery and lost half of my household items 9 weeks past the delivery.

After I searched online for moving companies, Diana, a most friendly sales person from this Co. called repeatedly. She offered many insights and being helpful with $3.85/cf rate for the distance from California to east coast, that is 35 cents lower than another Co. She also offered to come on Yelp to see the reviews for this Co. and others. When I saw this Co. losing people's headboard and footboard and asked her, she offered a secondary insurance Co. Moving Insurance Co. to insure items of value. So, I insured about $11K on furniture given that I had short time to justify items with current market value. When the foreman Mark showed up, he doubled the price calling Jason Scott in the background. Mark came with two pleasant movers one name Andre. They were supposed to show up in the morning but late arriving 2 pm claiming some inspection delay. They then dragged up and stayed whole night until 6 am the next day and still could not complete packing. Mark did not pack but record items (we found later on delivery his inventory was really very sloppy on noting the items). Mark is smooth, wore a large cross necklace. Mark came back the next day with two other young movers for another 3 hours to complete packing.

The delivery was scheduled on a weekend Saturday, but the driver did not call. I called the Co. and the driver Mat arrived 4 days later wearing slippers with 4 movers who did not speak English well nor know how to put furniture back together. They also missed delivering half of my items with a wrong set of chairs that did not belong to us. I called the Co. and the manager Valerie picked up, she then quit 1 week later according to the Co. operator Melissa. Then, Bri or Brizy the supervisor took over. Bri said that the driver named "Alone" works for this Co. and he is a good person, but they have lost contact with him and he is at Florida since he left California 4 weeks ago. He was supposed to deliver my stuff first, but I still do not have my stuff today beyond the 8 weeks after the scheduled delivery. Bri stated that this Co. has $25 per day delayed deliver claim which would be over $1200 by now. I filed $9K insurance claims for lost and damaged items through the secondary Moving Insurance Co. I am still waiting.

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! These guys operate a complete bait and switch scam! After you carefully inventory all the items for your move (on their form) and receive a price, don't be fooled. On the day of your move, when you have no other options, you will be quoted a new price that will be 2 or 3 times greater than your original price.



If you want to experience a complete shake down this is the company for you. If not, you should stay away from this scam!

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE! Since I can't rate a zero star...one star will have to do but that is still giving them too much credit. The worst business I've ever had to deal with. Very unethical in the way they do their business. To start, they were 2 hours late and didn't call until they were already 30 minutes late. They quoted us one thing to get us sign up and once they got there the guy told us it would be twice as much as we wrte quoted. We called customer service and they blamed their software for under estimating us. What software, it was a person that quoted us. There was no customer service, the guy was not willing to help or do anything to ease the situation. He mentioned that different people quote differently...which goes to show that they have no/lack of training. He even said they hire and fire people so often....that is a red flag if you cant keep your employees. All he just kept repeating the fact that their system quoted us wrong when really it's the people that quoted us. They have a responsibility to provide us with the closest estimate (suposidly since they know what they are doing) and provide quality customer service but it was too much to ask.

By writing this I am hoping that people will not fall for this type of company. They are out there to try to reel you in (deposit of $300) and then on the moving day you are forced to pay whatever or lose the deposit. It's a little ridiculous to ask someone to pay over $8000 when they were quoted $3700. Their name doesn't match the actual service you get so do not be fooled. I am an average person that has a lot of patience when it comes to terrible service. I normally would ignore it but I feel like this is too much and no one else should have to go through what we have experienced.

they quoted me 3,000 more than what was discussed, mind you I had about two things extra, but the value and space of those two things were not worth $3000 more to load on a truck and ship. I had also scheduled to leave town that day via plane so there was no turning back. This was a Saturday so you would think that the companys office would be open by at least10 am on a Saturday right? Wrong! I called them ten times that whole day and left a message and never got a response. They didnt call me back until almost Tuesday the next week after giving them a follow up call myself. Anyway back to that Saturday I had left-So I ended up having to come out my pocket half that in cash due to the extra charge of using a credit card, that I remember quite clearly speaking to my account rep two weeks before saying if I use that same credit card throughout the whole process there wouldnt be any extra charges. O and did I fail to mention that one of the guys moving my stuff SH%T in my bathroom!

I am impressed with Best Rate Moving And Storage wonderful services during my move. I knew that I hired them for a very tough job because of the nature of my move. I told their sales rep Sonia that I need the best team for my move because they were up against the most hostile situation. I had fragile items, some antiques, glass ware, silver ware and crystal ware and many other vulnerable belongings along with the old and heavy furniture and I gave them a very limited time frame to get the job done. Their response was equally good to the task. It was a great team work by their sales rep and the movers. They stayed calm and collective, never lost the focus till the end and worked as a cohesive unit. That is why they managed to deliver everything I asked for. I strongly recommend Best Rate Moving and Storage!

Working with Best Rate Moving and Storage was an enjoyable experience and I highly-highly recommend their services. They were extremely professional and they arrived on time to move my goods from CA to TX! Moving can be an extremely stressful process and when a friend of mine first told me about them, I didn't quite believe that moving could actually be pleasant but she was right - they were awesome! I have used them for smaller items that I have had to move as well as my entire home and for both jobs they were incredible. Definitely Recommended!

We had a great move with Best Rate Moving and Storage, the system they have for getting prices is unbeatable. All you do is tell them what you are moving and you get an all in one price, the only way they charge you more money is if you add on more stuff which is fair. I spoke to Sonia and she included packing materials which was good so that we knew the real cost and not the "basic" cost. Communication from the office was great during the move. We never once had to chase anyone down for updates. Even when we did call just to check in, someone always had an answer for us right away, no promises of "I will call you back" and never hearing from anyone. We just finished unpacking our things we moved from CA to TX and there were no damages or anything missing. The movers took great care of our things and we really appreciate that. I would and will recommend Best Rate Moving and Storage for moving service one thousand times.

These movers showed up exactly on time for a quote, were prompt in replying to emails and questions, and came in under the estimated price in the end. They showed up exactly on time on moving day, their movers worked their butts off, they were careful and loaded the truck expertly, and unloaded all the items exactly where I wanted them. They even disassembled & reassembled my furniture and large pieces expertly and placed enormous amounts of storage bins in our attic. They far exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier! I would recommend these guys without reservation.

My wife and I just wanted to let you know how impressed we were with the 3 men who moved us. They were very polite and professional throughout the process. I could tell that they were very experience and knowledgeable in the relocation industry. Once they arrived and we reviewed what was moving and what was junk, they got right to work and wasted no time. They did an excellent job and were very careful with our belongings - we ended up without any scratches or damage. Finally, they were extra speedy in getting things unloaded and placed properly. I was provided a quality move by Best Rate Moving and Storage. They did everything they said they would over the phone. Pickup and delivery went according to schedule and all of my belongings were clean, undamaged and in perfect condition nothing lost or stolen. Thanks again for the good job.
