This is a great facility. I took a tour and enjoyed the clean presentation the kennel was in. The owner Steve was informative and to the point. Pet's are his priority and he makes sure they are safe in his facility. Strongly recommend

We have been taking our dogs to Orion Kennel Club for over 15 years, largely because of the convenient location and the cleanliness of the facility. Our plans for Easter weekend 2014 included travel and the need to kennel our dogs and prepay due to it being a holiday weekend. Little did we realize Mother Nature had other plans in store. The weekend prior to travel, our home was hit by devastating weather that included 65 mph wind shear knocking down 10 seventy foot plus trees in our yard and on our home. Our travel plans quickly changed given that we now had to organize debris clean-up and home restoration. I called Orion Kennel Club, hoping my prepayment could be applied to a different weekend, but was quickly told that was not possible from both the manager and owner. I would have hoped some element of grace could have been taken into consideration given the situation is considered “an act of god”.



While we understand the necessity of organizations to adhere to policies, we also think there is an element of humanity that can be brought to the table. We believe in the long run Orion Kennel Club would have benefited from allowing us to apply this $190 to another date. While they have gained our prepayment for the weekend, we will be looking for another service provider and they have therefore lost a long-time loyal customer.

BUYER BEWARE! Watch the wording in the "prepayment form" and they have terrible customer service. She likes to sue in court.
