dr and his staff were always very good with my herd". i rescue animals and Jackie and the doc even came to my house since i had 7 cats at the time. i first used him when my 18 yr old snoodle was dying. he stopped everything when i brought him in and put him to rest, and carefully wrapped the body so i could take him home for burial. he is #1 ibook! i have used vets in canada, ky, and fla and he is still my favorite!

I made an appointment for a Friday, non-holiday, at 11am. My dog and I were seen at 12:15. I didn't even meet the vet. The helper -- no joke, I kid you not -- came out to the lobby to see my dog. Furthermore, I learned that the vet practices ear cutting, which is looked down upon by the American Veterinary Association. They also advertised a Stud Service on their board. Be careful before coming here. I won't be coming again.

I have 7 dogs & a cat. I've been using Dr. Irelan for about 7 years. He has always provide good affordable care for my pets. He doesn't do all the fancy, high tech laser surgeries and ultra expensive diagnostics. He always explains the options and gives me his opinion so I can make an informed decision. I have a dog that is a brittle diabetic and she has had several lifer threatening episodes. Dr. Ireland saw Sunshine through each one. When our cat had a severe stoke he was there through all the tears from both my husband and myself. I would highly recommend Dr. Bob.

Dr. Bob and his staff are wonderful with our "baby".We have a TomCat who seems to get himself into a lot of trouble. We found Dr. Bob through our neighbors Several of them use this Vet. I would Recommend this Doctor to anyone who wants his or her pet treated like family. He is very Reasonable, and no matter how booked they are they always seem to squeeze us in.

very rude doctor I wouldn't recommend him to anybody..I had to put my beloved seventeen year old pet to sleep and I was really upset he told me if I was going to be that upset I would have to leave the room and not be with her. What a mistake.. I will never go there again!

I would not recommend this place took my dog in to get spaded and when i went to pick her up they charged an extra 35.00 dollars because she was in heat at the time when i called 3 weeks prior i was not told that there would be an extra charge and i told them my dog was in heat and when i dropped her off they were supposed to check her and they didn't they just took and i left and when i picked her up thats when they charged me knowing that they never told me

The environment is very clean and friendly and knowledgable. I recommend to others to use Dr. Irelan if they need a Vet that will do what is best for your pet and i have had nothing but great service. I have used him for over 8 years. On call 24/7 with a smile no matter what time it may be.

Dr.Irelan is the worlds best in the business. He is an on call vet 24 hrs a day. I had a Beagle that my husband had out in the woods hunting and it was snake bit and the man saved his life. I have had litters of puppies that he also saved from pneumonia that another local vet said would die in 24 hours. He is the best in Polk County and also takes care of our horses.He knows what he is doing in all cases big or small and has a very caring and understanding staff by his side.
