Great steakhouse with excellent soup/salad bar available for lighter meal. Always get great food and excellent service. Wonderful warm fresh bread served with whipped butter. ALSO CHECK OUT their sister-restaurant FARLEY'S around the corner on Foothills. Sportsbar atmosphere that serves fresh roasted peanuts and great grill type food. Nice change if you don't want to go fancy.
Cream of greenbean soup? You bet! It was fabulous. Awesome salad bar. SWMBO had the best prime rib she's ever eaten. The Ponchartrain topping (lump crab, crawfish, shrimp) put her meal over the top. I ordered the sirloin (I think they call it their Special Club Steak) RARE. I got it rare. I thought Texas meat was good; this was outstanding. Great baked potato and fresh veggies. Our waitress (young, college coed) couldn't have been better. Not overbearing, but if we needed a refill or a question answered, there she was. I'm a big tipper usually, but I gave her 40%. She earned it. We were there early (5) and the crowd was building when we left. We will plan our future trips around dining at the Baron.
