stay clear of this Doctor. He is a retired marine colonel and still thinks he is in the service. He talks to his patients as if he is barking orders. If you ask him a question he acts as if you are accusing him of something and gives you a sarcastic answer. He explains nothing and resents being questioned about anything. The last time I saw him he separated all of my medication into two piles, then picked up one pile and took it out of the office and said I'll get rid of these out here. He pulled half of my medication cold turkey and offered no explanation. When I ask what he was doing he said," you don't need these". I have a lot of trouble and pain in my legs and he took every thing I had been taking for pain and I was in so much pain about three days later that I had to go to the emergency room to get something to stop the pain in my legs. I went back to see him one more time to try and get some of my medication back but I never saw him.He also stopped my diabetes medication, diabetic pain medication, any type of pain medication, my osteoarthritis medication, lyrica, requip, and several other medications. Luckily I found another Doctor and I am feeling much better. He could hardly believe the treatment I had received from Dr Brittingham and his office.
