      General Info
      Arkansas State Hospital, also known as ASH, offers health care services. The hospital is licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Arkansas State Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital includes more than 80 beds for acute psychiatric services. It offers a 50-plus-bed forensic treatment services program that includes assistance to circuit courts throughout the state of Arkansas. Arkansas State Hospital also provides an adolescent treatment program for youths between the ages of 13 and 18. Additionally, it offers a program for juvenile sex offenders. Arkansas State Hospital is a part of the Division of Behavioral Health Services.
