- General Info
- Legacy LA, a Community Partners project, is a grassroots startup organization dedicated to building a legacy of empowerment for the impoverished communities of East Los Angeles at the Hazard Park Federal Armory site. We are a collaborative community organization partnering with the City of Los Angeles with a critical goal to transform a weathered 1950s Armory building and five acres of urban parkland into a state-of-the-art facility offering multifaceted educational, cultural, and recreational services and programs. The collaborative will serve as a new model of youth care to improve the health of at-risk communities by delivering and promoting preventative services.
