The historically-preserved neighborhood has become a community within itself, beginning with early rehabilitation of historic buildings and development within the area. In 2004, the City of Los Angeles recognized the community-building efforts of the Old Bank District.The Old Bank District offers an ever-growing array of restaurants, bars, galleries, retail and nightlife for the urban dweller.
