I was very impressed with this hotel, I didn't have my hopes high as this was the first Econolodge I'd stayed at, but it's a very clean property, nice rooms, they have been upgraded, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I walked around a few times at night, and seems like a pretty safe neighborhood. Close to the River Front, Whisky Row and 4th Street Entertainment. Parking does cost $5 per night, but they do have a Security Guard on at night who walks the lot and keeps an eye on the cars. They do have a Gym, pretty nice equipment, just wish they had a Laundry Facility on premises as well, but they don't, it's a couple miles down the road. Breakfast is okay, Juice, Cold Cereal, Oat Meal and breads. I would highly recommend giving them a try if going to Louisville.

I really enjoyed staying at this property! The staff was great, and the location was perfect! It was conviently located in the heart of downtown. I was able to eat downtown and walk to many locations. The front desk staff, Pete Patel was very knowledgeable about the area, and he guided me during my entire stay.

I spent couple of nights and was extremly happy with location and clean, comfortable room. Staff is very nice. Everything within walk inn distance. I see some guests didnt like it, but everyone has their own decisions and i am so happy with the hotel.

Can't beat what this place has to offer - Pete Patel and his team are doing well here - friendly and helpful checking in



You cannot beat where this is - right in the middle of downtown, between Slugger Field, Fourth Street Live, and all sorts of restaurants and so on. Is it five star? No! But it is comfortable, clean, and well located.



This was my first trip to Louisville and quite an enjoyable one - I'll be back for sure, and this will definitely be on the short list for where to stay the next time.

Would highly recommend staying at the Econo Lodge Downtown when traveling through Louisville. The staff are friendly and helpful for any needs that may arise during your trip. The location is great as well!

Overall a pleasant experience

Great location for 4th street. Gas station across the street for late night snacks. Great value. Rooms were fine. walking distance to fourth street venues. would stay here again if I was going downtown.

I spent 2 nights at the EconoLodge Louisville. Much better than expected. It's an older facility, but rooms are reasonably updated and very clean. Comes with a mini-fridge and microwave. The continental breakfast was good. The manager, Pete, was always very friendly and hard working. You can't beat the location for the price. 5-10 minute walk from 4th street live and the KFC Yum center.

Amazing Experience on a Budget Price

I was very pleased with my stay here over the weekend to watch the NCAA tournament at the Yum Center. It was a short walk and the Econo Lodge was about half the price of nearby chain hotels, sometimes less than half. The staff was friendly, parking was a reasonable $5 a day, and the breakfast area was clean and well stocked. The rooms have been recently renovated and are above the standard of most budget hotels. Overall I would choose to return to this hotel and anticipate doing so if I'm in Louisville overnight.

The econolodge staff were very helpful. It is very close to most things downtown. The rates are very reasonable. The rooms were cleaned well everyday. I took advantage of the breakfast every morning.

The location is incredible for walking to all downtown attractions. Upon arrival and departure staff were extremely courteous and accommodating. The room was very clean, spacious, newly remodeled, and comfortable. The price was less than half neighboring hotels. We plan to stay here for all future trips to Louisville. Great hotel!

My family made a short trip to Louisville for a concert and we only stayed over night. The Econo Lodge was very convenient to the location of the concert and the price was very reasonable. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the convenience of the check-in and check-out. If we are ever in the Louisville area again, I would definitely use this lodging again.

We stayed overnight for the Paul McCartney concert at KFC Yum Center. Convenient, easy to find location allowed for easy walk to the event. Clean, efficient and friendly.

The motel it's self was clean. The room was equipped with a coffee pot, microwave and fridge and hair dryer. Everything was in working order and clean. The vanity/kitchen area had been updated recently. I would recommend this motel to the budget conscious traveler.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to our room. The whole room looked "new".I think it's a good deal. Brief interactions with staff at the desk were very friendly. We stayed one night, and will likely stay here again when we have an early flight out of SDF.

Clean room, the staff was great. We say many sites, went to the track and rode the Belle of St Louis. We had a great stay, the staff was very helpful and informative
