Founded in 1901, Heil Trailer International designs, develops and manufactures transportation equipment for different product categories, including liquid, dry bulk, lowbed heavy haul and military tactical tank trailers. Some of the trailers offered by the company are petroleum, crude oil, low/high cube, ISO standard containers, platform, towing, heavy haul, oil field, refuelers and construction hauling trailers. It is a subsidiary of Dover Corporation, a multi-billion dollar publicly traded company of more than 50 independent and diversified manufacturers of a variety of proprietary products and components for industrial/commercial use. Approximately 30 percent of the company s business is done outside of the United States with products sold to more than 85 countries.
