I paid a lot for having gel nails and in 3 1/2 days one broke off and split my nail under it. On day 4, another one and 1 week 1 day another one. Very painful because it pulled and split my nail under it in half, and made them bleed. I am totally dissatisfied! I AM NOT GOING BACK!!!

My nails look mediocre at best as they did not clean the area around my nail well and left polish on my skin. They charged me for more than I got and try to get you to get things without revealing they cost extra. Rude. Ain't nobody got time for that.

They charged me a lot.. over priced and no where near as good as the other local shops not in the mall.. EVEN though .. I have to go back and THEY ARE willing to fix it.. it should have been done right.. I feel like I did my own nails and just gave money to some one else.

Over priced and poor quality work. Employees have a "I don't care attitude". Nails lifted within a week.

This was by far the most unprofessional, price-gouging establishment I have ever experienced. Having been in the spa business myself for a very long time I was shocked at what went on in J.L. Nails and "Spa". The nail technician used her bare hands to scoop product for my feet out of a community jar that is used on other customers. There were nail clippings all over the floor around other pedicure stations as well. There were 8 employees, men and women who kept coming up to me and touching my belly (I'm pregnant). One lady came and rested her elbows on the chair I was in and started talking to me about the price of the service while I was on the phone talking business with an associate. She asked if I wanted to pay $45 for the deluxe pedicure. I said ok because I figured the extra attention to my very sore feet would be nice even though the price was exorbitant as this is FAR from a high end establishment. It's a chop shop in a strip mall. Another gentleman walked up and started talking to me again while I was on the phone and proceeded to poke my stomach. Then yet another girl came and actually sat down in the pedicure chair WITH me and put her arm over my legs! I have never experienced anything like this in my life in a nail salon. Meanwhile, the rest of the staff are literally laid out on a nearby couch eating and napping. Some are dancing to rap music and singing loudly all while my nail tech is talking on her phone. Finally, when I went to pay, the guy tells me it's $52! I said the other lady told me it was $45. He said that because I got paraffin it was $7 more. Of course I had no idea the paraffin was not part of the "deluxe" pedicure...it certainly should have been for such a ridiculous price. I was NEVER told this before paying and conveniently, the prices are not posted anywhere in the salon. I will NEVER return to this "business" and will not recommend it to anyone. An ok pedicure that should have at most cost $30 ended up costing me twice that amount. BUYER BEWARE!
