I was a walk in client the first time I went. They fit me right in, the service was amazing and the lady gave me good advice.

Im writing this review on behalf of a former customer: she went in to get a hair cut and a color dye. She left with a bad hair cut that looked to be chopped(girls we all know what that means). When she noticed she called back and told the lady whom did her hair that she was left with streaks of different cokors ib the back and that her hair was not cut correctly. The lady was very rude and could not admit that she did a "messy job." She did although offer to fix it, but did not mention a refund. Of course she took the offer and went by that same afternoon to give her a second shot at it and most importantly to fix it. When she got there the lady was very rude,did not apologize and said there was nothing wrong with it. The girl decided not to damage her hair more than it already was and just got a solid color. When the lady was washing her washing her hair she tugged and pulled at it. She left the girl in a very uncomfortable position without any support behind her neck. And to top it all off, the lady said and I quote, "that hair color doesn't go with the haircut." The audacity to say that is ridiculous! Its as if saying red doesn't go with short hair and black doesn't go well with long hair, COME ON! If that were the case, she as a "professional and certified" hairstylist should have suggested something else r said something to her. Later, we find out the hairstylist was talking about the girl with other customers! Very, very, very unprofessional! Its frustrating and mostly disappointing that the business would allow incidents like this to occur and encourage the gossiping of other clients. Unfortunately I will not ever step foot in there again or refer anyone else to Imelda`s.
