We reserved a waterslide for my 4yr olds birthday party weeks in advance. He was scheduled to be there at 10 am and got there at 8am. The extra 2 hours would have been awesome for my son but everyone was still in bed asleep. He got the slide blown up and it was the wrong one. I did not order that. It would have been ok but the first step was like 3ft from the bottom. And my 4 yr old COULD NOT get on it. I expressed my concern and he didn't care he preceded to load his stuff up leaving the horrible slide and my husband finally broke it down to him and with an attitude he took the slide down and went to get the right one. He didn't return until 12pm.. he brought the slide that I ordered and it was horrible. There was holes all in it, and the strps were not steps.. there were flat. It took my 4 yr old about 10 min to climb up it. Falling several times in the process. There was so many holes that it kept wanting to deflate.. my husband and dad actually had to repair one of the holes.. the guys were supposed to be there at 8pm to pick up. They never showed. They came first thing the next morning before 830 when everyone was asleep. They just came into my backyard without permission.. they did this so they could avoid us bc they knew the slide was terrible... they had no shame, they are a bunch of crooks..

This place is a joke. Mr. Martin is the worst business man ever. Booked them for my 4 year old's Birthday party 2 months in advance and they were a no show. I called them the day of a few hours before they were scheduled to set it up and "Martin" answered and said he need to check a few things and call me back......never received a call back, tried to call him back and no answer. Worst part was seeing my kids face when I told him no water slide :(

HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT make the mistake by reserving with this company. I wouldnt even givethem one star if this thing let me. We made reservations weeks in advance and confirmed 3 hours before the delivery time, during which we received confirmation of scheduled delivery. However, this Martin guy failed to deliver at all and refused to answer any phone calls to explain why they failed to show. Horrible buisness management. Do not fail for the cheap price, because its a scam and a total waste of time. It is sure to be a disappointment and these people do not even care. Save your time and your kids spirits and go with a reliable company!

Called made a reservation because they were cheap. Never heard back, day of party kept calling would not answer the phone or call back. Had to call another company and got one last minute cost more but way worth the price for my piece of mind. I will never rent from phillips water slides again. Some times it really is worth the higher price for quailty customer service and on time delivery!

Ive used this company for 3 years and never has a problem. Always on time even allowed whatever we rented to stay longer. To see all these neg comments blows my mind. I thought Martin was very nice.

I would like to say this was my second time using Philips Waterslides. I do admit after reading some of the reviews that I was a little skeptical, but my daugther and family had so much fun a couple of years ago that I gave it another shot. I received another wonderful experience. The crew was on time and very courteous. I do not want to discredit any of the bad reviews, but this is a small business and growing pains are part of the process. Thank you Philips for another memorable birthday party.

You can not depend on this company. They will not show up if their schedule gets over booked. And then act like it is your problem that they do know how to run a business. Your better off going with a better company!

There are so many slides to choose from so I let my grand daughter pick the one she wanted. We were able to ge the slide that we wanted with only one week notice. They delivered the slide on time and picked it up later than I though so the adults had some time on it too. I got it for the whole day since it was only a few dollars more. I guess if we were having a 3pm party and asked to get it at 3pm there could always be a problem. I thought that these things were only for kids, but the owner said that adults could use them also. I got more than my monies worth because I did some sliding myself.

I definitely recommend this company! We have used them for three years in a row and have nothing but praise for them. The employees have always been on time (or early) and are very courteous. We had used other companies in the past but had problems w/ bad equipment or extremely high prices. Phillip's has excellent equipment and is very reasonably priced. The owner is always very polite and helpfu.I will definitely use this company again and again!

We used this company for our 5 year old granddaughter's party and we were very please. They set up within plenty of time for the party, the slide was fantastic and everyone said it was the best party ever. I had tried to contact Event Outfitters first, since they came up on my search first and they never returned any of my 3 calls. Mr Lutherhill returned my first call within 20 minutes and I spoke to him twice before the party to confirm the schedule--I never had trouble getting in touch with him, even the day of the party. I would use them again and would recommend them to everyone.

Thank you, Martin and your team. You made our daughters 2nd birthday an absolute blast. When i called and found out how reasonable your prices were i was shocked everyone else I called was twice as much $$. You came early and setup eventhough we were not home at the time. When we got home our son had an blast sliding until the party started. All the parents and kids were amazed at how large the slide was. We had around 12 kids and they had a fantastic time our daughter went down the slide with the help of others and she had so much fun..she kept saying more...more..more. The parents were amazed at how reasonable your prices were!! You made our party perfect. I would recommend your company to anyone having an outdoor event for their kids b-day. It sickens me to think these people are in childrens entertainment! I had a waterslide reserved for today. I called and left message 2 hours prior to the party to confirm time. I did not receive a return call. At the time of the party I called multiple times and left messages. He arrived 2 hrs late...with a yard fill of kids. I called the owner to receive a discount because of his tardiness. The owner then called his driver and the driver sped off! No apology, no explanation, nothing. They call themselves a "business"?....A word of advice, your service is a luxury and with todays economy customer service is key. Yours is more than lacking. I guarantee that I will NOT use your "business" again, how unfortunate for you. Not only did I have a problem with your business practices but I had to explain to over 30 sad and disappointed kids as of why the man with the slide left? I don't know how people like you sleep at night! If only I had more room to let you know how I really feel!

I have used this company for many years...every birthday party for my son we rent these slides. I have never ever had a problem, they have always been on time and very nice gentlemen. I highly recommend them.

Caution!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I contacted them 2 weeks prior to our ver heard back with the promised follow up, so I called them. He acted as if he'd never talked to me! They were 3 hours late for drop off! That left me with 20 kids to entertain for almost 2 hours and our party was only 3 hours long! Also, they brought the wrong slide!Had no clue on how long I wanted the slide, refused to answer the phone when I tried to see if they were lost, and NEVER APOLOGIZED!!!! Late for pick up, Seriously disappointed. Only positive is their were a lot of moms at the party and they now know to NEVER USE THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY! This site makes you give them a star, but I wouldn't even give them that!

The party started at 3:00 and I received an e-mail from the owner stating he had dropped the ball and would not be attending at 12:31 (2.5 hours before the party was to begin). We received no phone call or other options. Simply the following note:"I drop the ball on this one. I thought it was a diff address I don't have a slide"
