DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY BY ANY MEANS.
We got scammed by Blackjack garage doors in a fence project, the owner Ernesto took off with a deposit of $6900 that we give him to start the job.
STAY AWAY FROM HIRING THIS COMPANY!!!

We hired him because of competitive prices and more importantly because he was supposed to finish the job within a short period of time. After several weeks of calling him to find out why he hasn't started yet, he promises to be there next morning and never showed up, no even call to let us know that he would not come, finally one day he showed up and completed no more than 5% of the whole project, leavings materials and concrete bags to deteriorate outside. Never again he answer our calls.
since we had a deadline for inspection with the insurance company, now everything went south and now we are facing fines and the risk of not been able to insure our home.
Fortunately he signed a contract and proof of insurance liability through his company.
Case is been built by lawyers as we speak!!
I will keep posting any changes to help other people how to fight cases like this and to encourage them to always make a contract, and more importantly never pay with cash or check, unfortunately i broke one of my most important rules. "do not ever pay with cash or checks" use credit or debit cards, at least you can get your money back.
