I normally don't rate people on things, but with you I will make an exception.



I am a current client of New York Life's and was out and about with my family this weekend. When I saw our agent J.P. I thought, well, he won't remember us, just because he has a ton of people that he deals with. I was wrong. J.P. went out of his way to come across the restaurant and introduce his wife to us, and he even remembered our name. Now I know this may not be a big deal to some people, but this is huge to me. How many salesmen actually remember the names of the people that buy from them? When I was a former client with State Farm, the agent there never could get my name right. He would always forget it, or call me the wrong name. If anyone knows me, they know that I CANNOT STAND to be called by my first name, and that everyone calls me by my middle name. But not J.P. He remembered my name, and his service to my family has been great. He remembered that our son had recently had his bar mitzvah, and congratulated him. I felt like that was a very kind gesture. When we met J.P. for the first time he wasn't pushy, he didn't try and force us to buy anything, and he seems like he really cares for his clients. That's what sold us. And to be honest, the only regret I have was that we didn't sign up with New York Life sooner. I don't want to go into detail about what we bought from New York Life, because I feel that it's not anyone's business buy my families, but needless to say, it has been a great experience, and I am proud to have him as our agent.

JP came by my house about a month ago, I have had salesmen visit my home before, but I have to tell you that this experience was way different. I felt no pressure from him at all, he never asked for any money, gave an great presentation, and he was professional. JP even told us a little about himself, and to my surprise had an amazing life story. If you get the chance to do work with him, make sure to ask tons of questions, he is honest, and very knowledgeable. I decided not to purchase any insurance (timeing wasn't right due to finances) but I will def. be purchasing insurance from him in a few months. JP even sent our son a birthday card, and we aren't even clients yet. Are you kidding me? A really great guy to deal with, and truly a credit to the company he works for. I would recommend him to everyone..
