After a few years of horrible haircuts I finally found Shayla. This is the best stylists I have ever met. I left her salon feeling and looking like a million bucks! Shayla is passionate about what she does, she is very reasonable and extremely professional. I am so glad I finally found a stylist like her!

Shayla is AWESOME! It's not often that you can find a hairstylist that has such good communication and works with your schedule! She explained every step of the cut and color thoroughly. She did not force me to buy expensive products like most, but explained how different hair care systems work. Typically I get highlights at other salons when my dark roots start growing our and after I always have a line where the colors don't match up. I can honestly say that she is the only stylist that I didn't fake loving my hair with before I left. She's helpful and smart and an instant friend! Best part: she met me at 7am because I had to work at 9am and I got to work on time without feeling rushed! I've paid more at other salons to not be nearly as happy with my hair. She's awesome!

I went to Shayla J's to treat my perm damaged hair. I was having a hard time deciding if I should go for keratin complex or Brazilian blowout. Shayla took the time to explain both and even did a little sample of both on small section of hair to show me. I finally went with Brazilian blowout. Great results.... I love my hair! She is very sweet, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her.

I have finally found a stylist in Mount Pleasant! After two years of living in Mount Pleasant and searching for a natural hair stylist, I was delighted to find a review on Shayla J that led me to scheduling an appointment. I thought I would have to travel to North Charleston and deal with the typical salon experience, but thankfully, my outlook has changed. Shayla J was knowledgeable and explained each step she was performing. She is professional, while making you feel at home. I will be a regular from now on.

I came across Shayla J when I purchased a group on for lash extensions and she did such a great job I am now devoted. She is down to earth and very straight forward and stands by her work. If you don't like something just tell her and she will make sure to get it to where you will love it.

I've been seeing Shayla since I first used her Groupon in July. She is a great stylist and has worked miracles on my over processed dry hair. Thanks you her I've recieved tons of compliments on my shiny sleek hair. I only wish I could post a picture of how amazing my hair looks right now as Shayla managed to fit me in on New Years to do my hair. Previous reviews seem a little tinted and wrong...

I have been going to Shayla for over two years now and I am constantly being asked by strangers and friends who does my highlights and haircuts, and I give them Shayla's number. She always fits me in with my busy schedule, you will not be disappointed, she is the best stylist I have ever been to! Thanks Shayla!

I have not had the opportunity to visit Shayla J's salon so this poor review is based solely on the lack of customer service. I purchased a groupon for Shayla J's about 6 weeks ago. Ovre the course of about 10 days, I called three times and left 2 voicemails to try to schedule an appointment. After another week, I had still not received any response so I contacted Groupon to ask for a refund. A representative from Groupon told me he would contact Shayla J's and ask her to return my phone call. That was 2 weeks ago...still nothing.



I will be pursuing a refund with Groupon and no longer wish to patronize Shayla J's as a customer for fear that the level of service provided during an appointment would align with the lack thereof while trying to MAKE an appointment.
