Great pizza and the price is good too!

I love this place.... great family dining, outstanding prices and warm, friendly, happy environment. Best seak and eggs around!!! Outstanding pizza, salads and dinnerstoo. I love this place!

I have been going to Van Costas since the mid 80's. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere and a great restaurant for family dining. All of the staff has been there from 3-15+ years.That says a lot about an establishment. They have one of the best breakfast in town and the cheapest. I have been eating breakfast there since the mid 80's. The owners go out of their way to make sure you get the service you expect. They give the same service for first time customers as they do for their regulars. They are in my opinion the best family Restaurant on the Peninsula. DF

their pizza still taste GREAT!! i just moved back into the newport news area and vancostas was one of the first places we headed. they may have changed owners but their pizza is one of the BEST in newport news.

the only thing I did not like was that it was smoky, but when checking out I saw a sign that said Smoke Free June 1, 2008. A place I will go back to. I went for the pizza and ended up with Moussaka. What a great deal.

Hot coffee and great food. I really enjoyed eating there. I went for pizza night and can not wait to try the breakfast. It was a family environment. The waitresses were working hard, it was busy, but what quick service! The restaurant was clean and inviting. I will tell all my friends and be back very soon!
