Very pleased with this company. I called and they came right out within an hour. The tech was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me.
Roto-Rooters is good at one thing: Getting your emergency problem fixed on the same day it occurs. However, you pay a very high premium for it - $333 for 1/2 hour of the technician's work (a 20% increase over last time I used them 2 years ago). For that price, I would have expected that a) the technician shows up as promised (it was 3 hours after the end of the "window" they gave me) and b) the technician would clean up better after themselves (our basement floor was quite disgusting after he left). I would give them only 2 stars for value.
The best customer service I've dealt with in a while. They got the job done in a timely manner. Great job!
Lateral line was clogged and caused our basement drain to back up. Called Roto-Rooter and technician was out within the hour! Tech couldn't get all the way through the pipe so a camera was suggested. Customer service was outstanding. Tech with camera came out and did thorough job and explained everything. Couldn't have been a better experience. Will definitely be recommending them to friends.
Had Shawn Prunty out to my house in Virginia Beach today to help with a clogged pipe, which was causing the sink to overflow when I did laundry. He was very knowledgeable and in less than an hour, the pipe was unclogged. He also explained some monthly maintenance we can do that should help prevent future clogs. Very happy with quick service. I've been using Roto-Rooter for 23 years whenever I have a drain or plumbing problem. The reason I love them so much is because of their free estimate policy and the technicians are always very pleasant and professional.
We had a main sewer line backup. Roto-Rooter responded quickly even though it was the evening hours. They cleared the line for us to use until Ty, the camera specialist, could come out and put a camera down the line to see what our real problem was. He explained the problem thoroughly. Unfortunately we needed to replace a good portion of the line. Lee was sent to do the work. He was very knowledgable and went above and beyond in his repairs. We feel like we received a quality service from Roto-Rooter.
We had a overflowing toilet in the morning. We called Roto-Rooter to the rescue. Unfortunately it was a very busy day for them so we had to wait for 11-12 hours. Finally Shawn came. He was working already for 16 hours but he was still patient, very friendly and took the time to explain everything to us. Last but not least he fixed our toilet to our satisfaction. And for the long wait we got a 15 % discount. Thank you Roto-Rooter!
