      Western Costume Company, founded in 1912, is a one-stop shop for designers and costumers. Located in North Hollywood, Calif., the company offers a complete support system for an entire wardrobe team, including design offices, prep and wrap spaces, dying and laundry, and fitting rooms. Its purchasing department provides costume accessories, including old lace, silk flowers and gold bullion crests. Its fabric store offers vintage fabrics, including silk taffetas, metallic brocades, multicolored curled feathers and beaded appliqu s. The company has a research library facility with an inventory of more than 15,000 volumes books and magazines. Additionally, the company offers services, such as men's tailoring, haute couture and custom made shoes and hats. It also provides a men's and women s rental department for theater, Broadway and touring productions.
