I signed up with Slate Model& Talent 6 weeks ago ,Since then they were happy to take my money ,but I have never heard from them ,nothing ,My advice is do not sign up with Slate Model& Talent ,Ruemeila

I just signed with slate and got my photos done the next week. The day after I signed I recieved castings through email. To correct the people before, they will help you choose a few photos for a comp card, but they do send you a cd of ALL of your images. Depending on the photographer some will even edit almost all of the photos for you which gives a turn over time of about a week (well worth it for 100's of completely edited photos). I have already been sent to a few castings and I am mvery pleased with the agency. Some may not understand that they have 2000 talents and no everyone will get casted, sometimes it takes a while to book, but I have been more than pleased with the company. PS from someone who has been in the industry $350 is CHEAP for the quality of photos you get. Studios & other model photographers will cost an upward of $600 or more for just a few photos. If you think you can be in this industry without paying for photos you're sadly mistaken. $350 is a blessing.

I wouldn't recommend this agency only because they charge you 350.00 to get a few photos together and say that it will take 2 weeks to get into the system, but really you end up waiting about 1.5 months, and then once you get casting calls they are sent to your email sometimes at 8:00pm -12:00am who has enough time to just head off to calls in such a short amount of time, and who is checking their emails that late in the day...bottom line, if you pay for any kind of service for a modeling agency, you prob. shouldn't be working for them..i rate this place, very unprofessional. also after going into the agency i left, and i called back within 10 minutes and they didn't even remember me?!
