If I could give this 10 stars I would vote for that. If it had not been for Raymond LaPietra having an opened mind to allow for Like Me to participate in the many events that he sponsored, Like Me would have never been introduced to the Kansas City market. Meeting Raymond has been an amazing opportunity for both he and I to work together in the Fashion Industry. We collaborated to have both my Like Me models and his Career Images Model's to participate in the American Red Cross Fashion Show Fundraiser together under Like Me's "full figured clothing line." Not only did his model's meet the expectation that they are known for, they surpassed the desired ability and entertained the audience as well. Raymond LaPietra is not only a great business man, but he is a great friend to me and my company Like Me. I am excited for what the future has for both he and our companies to collaborate on even more upcoming events in the Kansas City area.

I am a professional model who’s been in and out of the industry for about a decade due to bad experiences with agents, agencies, photographers, etc. Last year when I came back in and grabbed the attention of Career Images, I must say I was hesitant. After hours of looking over statistics and reviews of the agency, viewing profiles of the models and going through pictures of real events, I took a call from the CEO himself- who wanted to talk about bringing me on board. I was incredibly surprised to have a 2-hour conversation about the industry, business, and life. I’m absolutely not one to usually advise a model to sign with an agency, but Career Images is a wonderful company truly with the best interest of their talent at heart. Mr. LaPietra holds strong on contractual obligations to models and clients, with a legal degree and Conflict Resolution background. He also gives back quite a bit to the community- something only made possible by the great success of the agency over its 35 years. I firmly believe you can gauge the soul of a company by their CEO, and I have nothing but positives regarding the leadership here. Career Images deals with very high end bookings and clients and do their best to both prepare talent for castings as well as see them through to being selected. I will always recommend working with them.

I am excited that I have gotten to meet with Raymond. I have had very bad experiences in the past with different agencies where I am coming out of pocket more than I was making and I was not able to communicate to the agency at all. When I sat down with Raymond to discuss my modeling career he made my uneasiness about agencies go away. He is about his business and has a lot of experience and knowledge. You will not get false hope or miscommunication from him and that's what I love about him. First and foremost, Without a doubt, in my opinion, God is working through Raymond and it is amazing!
One evening, we (Myself and Family) attended a house party with friends. Which includes Raymond, well, our 12 year old daughter had not met Raymond and all she knew was that he was in modeling. Well, as Raymond was leaving, Skyler took it upon herself to stop him and ask him to look at her designs. Since then, Raymond has put so much time and energy into supporting her and giving her a Hand up to launch her into the fashion design industry including being able to see her designs walk in a runway show.
As her parents, yes, we scrambled to get her designs created and doing what we had to do to ensure this would happen. But, Skyler had to do majority of everything and she was involved in every step so that she can really understand every aspect of whats involved and with the continuing support and encouragement from Raymond and us, her level of confidence, focus, self-esteem and most importantly, her gratitude have truly soared!!
All of this because one, very creative 12 year old had enough belief and respect to ask one simple question, "Would you like to look at my designs?"
We have had the opportunity to see Raymond in action at a show and get to know him much better and when I say that he is a good person and lets God guide him, I mean it. I would recommend anybody to him for modeling, coaching, personal improvement.Thank You Raymond and Career Images for completely changing the life of a 12 year old "Adult under construction"! God timed this perfectly, as a pre-teen in Junior High, she was beginning to struggle with some self-esteem and confidence issues. In fact, for a young girl, she had a very traumatic experience at the local swimming pool this past summer that really damaged her, well, she has forgotten all about that and is far stronger than I have ever seen her!!
