John Muir High School is an educational institution that offers academic and extracurricular opportunities for students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers instruction in language arts, mathematics, physical education, social studies and science. John Muir High School conducts various sports activities, such as soccer, basketball, swimming, and track and field. The school additionally enrolls more than 1,400 students. John Muir High School operates a parent-teacher-student association and camera and chess clubs. The school provides scholarships, as well as conducts SAT and ACT tests.
