      Pasadena Public Works Department handles vital services to its residents and businesses, including trash removal, sewage, park maintenance, street maintenance, sweeping and maintenance of city vehicles and facilities. The department is the caretaker of the community's infrastructure. Its goal is to preserve and enhance the city s resources for future generations. Pasadena Public Works Department s divisions are building systems and fleet management, capital projects, engineering, parks and natural resources, street maintenance and integrated waste management. The department s building systems and fleet management division provides maintenance and repair of city facilities and vehicles. The capital projects division is responsible for managing the construction or renovation work for all city owned facilities. Its parks and natural resources division oversees the development and maintenance of the city's parks, non-park properties and its urban forest. Pasadena Public Works Department is headquartered in Pasadena, Calif.
