This petco has a good selection and good service, helpful friendly staff. Although sometimes I have to go find a sales person in the Reptile-Amphibian department to ask for live food. Since a big renovation this year, the store feels new and bright, clean and inviting; easier to shop. The grooming dept is busy but not overly so and plenty of activities like dog training classes as well as rabbit and cat adoption events are going on regularly. I Highly recommend this Petco store.

I haven't shopped at PETCO in a while because their competitor is closer to my home and has a much nicer store. Still, I received a $10 off coupon in the mail and wanted to use it on a new brand of food for my senior dogs, so off I went. This store is a bit strange and off-putting to me. I did notice the odd smell that another reviewer wrote about; as well, the store is kind of dark, cave-like and not really inviting at all. The employees I approached for help were pleasant enough, but they had a limited selection of the brand of food I wanted, and didn't stock the "senior formula" I'd specifically gone in for. I wanted to be able to use the coupon, and get my dogs started on the new brand, so I ended up with a small bag of adult formula to mix in with their current food, and will return to PETCO's competitor for the senior formula when the time comes.
