Since 1914, Wittichen Supply Company has been a wholesale distributor of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration parts, equipment and supplies. Based in Pelham, Ala., the company pioneered the first use of anhydrous ammonia, sulfur dioxide and methyl chloride for refrigerant systems in 1993. The clientele of the firm includes DuPont, Allied Chemical Company, Honeywell, Johns Manville, Klein Tools, White Rogers, Johnson Controls and Tecumseh Compressors.
