TOTAL Nightmare. RUN don't walk...This nut "the owner" used bleach over my beautiful honey blonde locks. All I asked for was a root touch up. I called her twice to get a refund for the 200 dollars she charged me and she hungup the phone on me. She called me and berated me and I recorded the whole conversation. She refused to fix my hair or even pay me back. She did every single thing possible to get more money off of me. As I stood horrified at the counter realizing what I mess this was...she told me she could do balyage for 300 bucks to make it better. WOW! I went to Rainbow Room in Westlake Oh where the haircolorists are all BOARD CERTIFIED and had Angela fixed this mess up as best she could. Some people really should not be anwhere near scissors or chemicals. I suppose if you are living near that salon and need to use a public restroom that might be the only reason to enter that hideous lime green door- Trust me. Please dont ruin your hair.

I have never had my hair done in Pittsburgh and saw that Daquila had wonderful reviews so thought this would be a great place. I scheduled a cut, color and highlights. Not only did I have to wait 45 minutes to be seen, but she also did a terrible job at understanding what I wanted. To make it easy, I brought in multiple pictures and thoroughly explained what I was looking for. After being there for three hours, I left with hair that looked practically the same when I came in as if nothing had been done, in addition my roots weren't even touched. She had me come in two weeks later to rectify her (lack of) work and ended up giving me my money back. She explained that she never colored my hair and just did a full head of highlights (that you couldn't even see). Talk about, MAJOR communication issues between the appointment I requested, the pictures I showed her and the final product. So upset with the salon and my experience. I would never recommend this place or come back again.
