Best crab!

This is hands down my favorite place to have crab! It’s always good and fresh. What’s more is their butter. I don’t know why more restaurants wouldn’t do theirs like this too!! Once you have it you will know and become a butter snob! Also the best blue cheese wedge around. I've tried a few other places and they just have it perfect. Yum! Almost every time has been perfect. My boyfriend got a steak once that was a bit tough, Once our waitress didn’t come to check on us at all during our meal at the Huntington Beach location. But other than that it’s been great! I wish I could go there now!

Service was very good - not much of a wait on a Tuesday night there were 6 of us. food was good - serving size of the main course was a little skimpy although sides were plentiful. Hot bread was fantasic!

Dont Bother

I dont know about other Market Broilers, but the location in Huntington Beach is nothing to be impressed with. When you walk into a resturant you expect a warm welcome by the hostesses. You will not find that at Market Broiler, the young girls dont know up from down. They dont know where to seat you and they are just clueless about everything. While waiting to be seated i found it to be crowed and not a very friendly place. I saw a manager yell at one of the waitresses. I mean come on lets be a little more professional guys, this isnt a zoo. When we were finally taken to our table it was dirty when we sat down, there was food on the floor and the table was sticky! When our server arrived she brought bread which wasnt as hot as it should be, but she was pretty friendly. The actual meal was pretty good, there famous chowder was alright but ive personally have had better. While dining I saw the same manager acting frantic and visibly upset with everyone, it made me uncomfortable. FINALLY i recieved my bill and i got out of there quick. The best thing was the taffy at the door. So overall, i would have to say that the food was ok but the atmosphere was horrible and thats way i titled this DONT BOTHER.

My fish was overcooked. Clam chowder was good though.

Great restaurant for seafood.

The restaurant is great if you like seafood. It is a little pricey for the food that it offers but it is still good food.

Long wait for food!

It was my first time eating at that restaurant. Service was fairly well but waiting for our food was LONG! After 30 minutes, the manager said the N.Y. steak my boyfriend ordered ran out. So they had to take out the frozen steak and cook it. Thta took another 45 minutes. By the time our food came out I lost my appetite to eat.

Market Broiler rose from the tradition of California seafood landmarks dating back to the 1950's. It's a casual, comfortable, moderately-priced, full-service, restaurant where fresh fish and seafood are prepared over mesquite charcoal flames.Key to its presentation is the fresh fish market, where all fish being served is on display. In addition to 18 fresh fish offered daily, entrees of fresh chicken or aged beef as well as salads and pasta are offered. The food is flavorful and portions are generous. The homestyle theme is borne out by the fact that the chowders, sauces, and dressings are made from scratch in each restaurant.
