Provided by YP.comThis Alamo had really nice staff but the car quality I received was as good at some other locations. The car was a bit worn and not as clean as I have experienced with other Alamo locations. This gives the best prices and quality out of all the other rental car services I will always use Alamo if I can. I also like that they waved the underage fee because I was in the military I respect that they honor military with a discount.

Provided by YP.comI GET 4 HRS OF SLEEP A NIGHT. BECAUSE UR CAR HORNS ARE ALWAYS HONKING. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY??? THEY ARE HONKING LIKE 5 AND 6 TIMES COMMING OUT OF A CARWASH. REDICULOUS... GET STOP SIGNS AND MIRRORS. OPEN UR EYES.., WE DONT NEED ALL THAT NOISE WHEN WE ARE SLEEPING.

Provided by YP.comI just had a great trip to St. Louis, but was unhappy with the high pressure sales tactics used when I rented a vehicle from Alamo at the (Lambert) airport. I reserved an intermediate car on the internet - and the person was able to find my reservation without delay. However, when I made it known that I had my own insurance and would not require their expensive insurance, the person at the counter began loudly recounting all the terrible things that I would be liable for if I didn't buy, buy, buy! I was also told the 'intermediate' car might not have such things as cruise control, so I better pay pay pay extra $$$. The other people at Alamo were great (i. e. Wayne on Shuttle Service), but the counter person presented these dire 'up-sell' scenarios with such a predatory and polished indifference, I worry that Alamo is actually training their counter people to interact with the public in this way. I hope I am wrong - perhaps the person was just having an off-day, but I thought other travelers should be made aware of my experience.
